Mandela Gardens, Barnsley

Schofield Contracting is pleased to announce that it has recently been awarded the Public Realm contract for works at Mandela Gardens in Barnsley, part of Yorkshire Forward's “Remaking Barnsley” initiative. This £800k scheme started in March of this year, and will be completed in two phases. Work on the public gardens will include a 4m high water wall, stainless steel edgings and handrails, basalt setts and sawn paving, and various landscaping initiatives.
